Former King of Hell.

On being king

The lockdown didn't earn him any love. For the most part but due to his previous 'party boy’ nature, many had come to see him as somewhat of as a joke. The brother’s had scoffed at Lucifer’s choice of making Asmodeus King, and even to himself it had come as a surprise.

They soon learned to respect him; begrudgingly or not, Asmodeus was seen as fair but strict King. He ruled with an iron fist to maintain control, doing something that Lucifer had seemingly grown lax doing over the centuries.

Afterwards as people often do, Asmo had a better appreciation and a sense of clarity for what Lucifer had done all these years; keeping all the demons in his command organized and to get his brothers to heel was a fine balance, the likes of which weren’t something one could slack upon.

Hell is more than just home

For two hundred years Asmodeus did the same, bringing a semblance of peace to the surface of the humans. However his siblings who had become restless from their imprisonment and confinement to their realms, had grown envious of Asmodeus’ vast amounts of power.

In-house fighting was common place, and by the time Asmodeus left Hell — and the pit that he reigned over — he was only close to a select few people; most of his brothers were not on that list.

On the surface, those roaming the Earth — the humans, shifters, fae, etc. — had developed new sins; in doing so more Avatars of said Sin were created.

A future after being king

Asmodeus has returned to a change he didn't expect to see, but has vowed to himself to step away from it all; it was no longer his problem.

Lucifer returned after a lengthy stay, and back went the mantle of King and Cape to his brother. Asmodeus shrugged off his responsibility and went through the nearest hellmouth to come to the surface to feast upon the sexual energy of others. He has since learned he can do in a variety of many ways, not all actual sex (as people seem to often believe).

He is adapting to life once more without the same troubles weighing him down. Learning of what he has created due to his actions.

He is still powerful, but he is no longer the devil he once was — for that he is pleased; he didn't like what he became when he had been handed that much power.

Hell corrupts all, even those kind of heart.
